Subdivisions

To model my dinosaur – a Piatnitzkysaurus – I have chosen to use Blender and basic mesh tweaking with a subdivision over the top. I’ve used this method before, and I find it works quite well, given that you can get quite close to the desired shape without needing to move an excessive amount of the mesh.

Additionally, Blender allows me to animate the dinosaur and import it directly to Unity with little fuss.
